The Estimation Method of Sensing Parameters Based on OTFS

In an integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) system, improving the accuracy of delay Doppler shift parameter estimation is a critical task that sustains performance system. To tackle this task, we introduce two-stage algorithm named matched filter-Fibonacci (MF-F), which employs orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) waveform characteristics in delay-Doppler (DD) domain. first step (MF), parameters are approximated on integer grid using relationship between input output signals DD domain ISAC model. This approximation executed cyclic property matrix. following (F), implement two-dimensional (2D) searching technique based Fibonacci sequence, called search method, to achieve with fractional accuracy. method decreases number comparisons needed enhances process speed. Finally, proposed study was tested numerical simulations hardware experiments. The results demonstrate MF-F can precisely estimate speed distance millimeter-level has robustness low complexity simulation. Moreover, estimated experiment respectively reach centimeter meter level.
